Jody Berry, impassioned owner and plant enthusiast, calls Rickreall, Oregon her home. A fifth generation Oregonian, she couldn’t imagine living anywhere but the abundant Pacific Northwest. Her interest in wild plants was first cultivated by her father, foraging together for wild edibles on walks in the woods as a child.
While studying Organic farming at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, she began growing many of the botanicals contained within her products and became just as interested in what she was putting on her body as what was going into it. Her interest in botanicals blossomed into a love and deep understanding of fragrance- creating aromatherapy products that smell unusually wonderful and are formulated for specific therapeutic properties. She also developed Baby Carrot, offering natural alternatives with very light essential oil fragrances for the sensitive little ones in our lives.
Jody grows many of the botanicals contained within her products and crafts all the botanical oil infusions herself. From alpine meadows to rainforest river deltas, many of the plants are respectfully gathered and processed by hand. She believes that having a relationship from seed to salve, and gathering plants when the vibration is highest, results in a truly unique offering in this mass-produced world.
