An incredibly simple—dare we say humble—moisturizing makeup remover for the eyes. Concentrated — a drop or two will do.
Most recently we have delighted in the moisturizing lift this gives to the dry, papery eyelids of some of us who are aging.
Many of you may not know this, but the flower you see on the front—also known as Queen Anne’s lace—is also known as Daucus carota or Wild Carrot, our namesake. This plant has a long white tap root that is edible and smells and tastes just like a carrot. The gorgeous flowers produce abundant seeds—also known as a bird’s nest—and the birds do go crazy for them in the fields around our farm. These seeds have many uses — as essential an oil and as a cold pressed oil such as the one in this bottle. Carrot oil is rich in beta carotene, vitamins A & E and pro-vitamin A. It is a great oil to restore the moisture balance of the skin. This remarkably stable oil also offers UVA and UVB protection and beta carotene — a great choice for the eye area.
