The Lostine River originates in the Eagle Cap Wilderness and sparkles its way for 16 miles of remarkable wildlife and botanical diversity to the boundary of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. One of our favorite rivers, when we visualize it, we see deep, dark pools of green and blue, sunlight dancing across the river’s surface, basalt rock faces, towering conifers, an abundance of plants, and deeply challenging access roads. As the Lostine River contains all the very best qualities of a river, so too does its namesake, our Lostine River shampoo bar. Containing the ‘holy trinity’ of plants that benefit hair and scalp, rosemary, nettle and horsetail, this shampoo deeply strengthens, rebuilds, encourages hair growth, and discourages dandruff.
