This verdant green lip balm captures the essence of our unique ecosystem, an homage to the towering trees we call home in the PNW. Inspired by lush ferns, vibrant mosses, and the sparkle of a hidden river, all under the watchful gaze of towering pines. Each summer solstice, we gather the new, bright green needles of nearby Larch and Fir. These are then infused in organic extra virgin olive oil, transforming it into a jewel-toned green that captures the summer sun's radiance.

Resin-rich tree needles, renowned for their protective and soothing properties, are also high in vitamin C to nourish your lips. Deep green hemp seed oil acts as a powerhouse, strengthening your lips' delicate skin. Finally, a matcha green tea infusion, packed with antioxidants, safeguards your lips, keeping them healthy, protected and full of grounding wisdom.

  • Moisturizing and Protective Barrier: The balm contains a blend of waxes and oils like beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, and olive oil. This combination helps create a protective barrier that locks in moisture and protects lips from dryness and environmental irritants.
  • Soothing and Healing Properties: Shea butter and hemp seed oil are known for their anti-inflammatory and nourishing properties. These ingredients can help soothe irritation, promote healing of chapped lips, and leave them feeling soft and smooth.
  • Antioxidant Rich for Overall Lip Health: Extracts from Douglas fir needles and green tea (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) are likely included for their antioxidant content. Antioxidants help fight free radical damage, which can contribute to premature aging of the lips.

Favorite lip balm

I love the Douglas fir lip balm. It smells like the forest and instantly grounds me every time I use it. And it actually works! I live in a dry climate so I always buy multiple at a time and keep one in every bag, purse, vehicle, etc.

What could be better than a lip balm that smells like the forest in the summer?? My husband is a chap stick connoisseur and he is always asking me to buy more of this delightful lip balm for himself. Good going, Wild Carrot!! 5 STARS

Love the new packaging!

This is already a product that I love, and I was skeptical about the new packaging. I love the concept of plastic free, but was worried the container would deteriorate in my bag. I've been using this for weeks now with no issues whatsoever. Amazing!

Frolicking through the woods

This lovely lip balm reminds me of running amok through the woods and forests growing up covered in sap. Leaves your lips a nourishing juniper kiss that’s sure to bring a giddy heaping of PNW nostalgia.
