I've only applied this moisturizer a couple of times now, but it's different from the other WCH moisturizers I have. I have the ones without a pump, in the round jars with a lid. Elemental is surprisingly cooling for my skin. I wasn't expecting that. They are correct when it's labeled as light - it absorbs easily and quickly. The scent is 'outdoor-sy' -- lovely and not overpowering. It reminds me of cooler outdoor days, though that's probably due to being cooling on my skin. This could easily be an morning moisturizer for day use. I still enjoy the creamier, Neroli moisturizer for overnight. Another wonderful addition to my skincare routine. Thank you WCH!
The elemental face cream, is not quite right for me. I believe I used the soulshine before (not+), but the store didn’t have any so I purchased this one. I will agree with other reviewers, it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. It doesn’t make me break out (blocked pores) which is what happens for me when a moisturizer is too heavy, but it kinda has a mild burning sensation after I apply it. So I went to look up the ingredients to see if something in there was supposed be stimulating, I’ve tried it a few times and yeah same, I’m not a huge fan of this one.
Side note since I’m commenting I’m always curious how much citrus is used when using them in the creams because living in a sunny place I’m concerned with a lot of the companies using citrus oils in their face products since they can cause photosensitivity, but hoping maybe it’s a minuscule amount? Regardless I like your products, this one just isn’t for me.
I love how it doesn't feel greasy or heavy on my skin! I also like to mix it with the Sun Salutation serum before bed.
Pure ingredients, moisturizing without being at all greasy....Wild Carrot's creams are too greasy and heavy for my skin, even though I'm in my late 50's. Elemental Moisturizer is super supportive and absorbs quickly.
I love Wild Carrots Elemental Facial Moisturizer. I've been using it for several years now, and pleased at the results. It goes on smoothly, and isn't greasy. It's a great product.
